Intuition Training
CASE STUDY 2

Student: FR
Specialty Course: Medical Intuition Coaching Course
Training Period at time of Case : 12 months

Client: LEONIE J (referred by Chiropractor)
(name has been changed to protect the identity of the client)

Presenting Symptoms: Stomach Pain

DISTANT READING

LOCAL READING

I. ENERGY BODY
CHEST (4TH CHAKRA) – loss of power

PHYSICAL
Heart pressure from HIATUS HERNIA and GASTROINTESTINAL GAS. PALPITATIONS.

Testing with kinesiology revealed the hiatus hernia.
Leonie confirmed she had palpitations.

II. ENERGY BODY
3RD CHAKRA:

• STOMACH – congestion and stagnation
• PANCREAS – depressed function
• SMALL INTESTINE – unco-ordination

• STOMACH
PHYSICAL:
Insufficient HCL from parietal cells

EMOTIONAL:
Difficulty receiving her needs

MENTAL:
Difficulty in opening to new ideas

• PANCREAS
PHYSICAL:
Deficiency of amylase

EMOTIONAL:
Grief, holding in

Leonie is taking Somac which inhibits the gastric
cells from releasing HCL.

• SMALL INTESTINE
PHYSICAL:
Insuffient maltase to convert maltose to glucose

MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL:
Not sifting to know what to keep and what to throw out in life.

Leonie’s constitutional type:
Connective and elastic tissue weakness; low vital energy and weak stamina requiring greater
rest for recuperation. It is common for this constitutional type to want to keep up with everyone’s else stamina and in order to do so, they do not listen to their body’s needs for more
frequent rests and rely on stimulants to keep
going, at the expense of their adrenal glands and
general health.
As I began to give her information about
lifestyle, she commented that her husband said
she always comes home from practitioners with
information but never questions in order to
understand why. (not questioning in order to gain
more information so as to be able to ‘sift’ the
information)

III. ENERGY BODY
THIGHS – LOSS OF POWER

PHYSICAL
Quadriceps weak.

Quadriceps are on the small intestine meridian
and when weak, I have always found it to
relate to a gluten intolerance.

DIETARY CONTRIBUTORS:
Wheat gluten as the major cause of her physical
problems.

Kinesiology testing revealed weakened
quadriceps. On correcting and then sublingually testing with kinesiology, gluten weakened the quadriceps again.

IV. TOP OF HIPS
Unco-ordination

Leonie is taking Thyroxine 150 mg daily.
Thyroxine commonly causes the side effect of
hip pain. On questioning Leonie, she
confirmed that she has pain at the top of her
hips.

Consistent with her constitutional type, iris
analysis and kinesiology revealed chronic
underfunctioning of her right adrenal gland.
Adrenal insuffiency can lead to her symptoms:
Bowel inflammatory disorders
Poor and inadequate digestion
Thyroid imbalance
Fatigue
Hypoglycaemia
Low blood pressure/dehydration
Emotional irregularity (moodiness)
Depression
Leonie confirmed all these symptoms.

SUMMARY:

Distant reading’s impression was that Leonie could have difficulty with being willing to change.
Her constitutional type frequently looks for stimulants, the main one being wheat with subsequent secondary effects of fatigue.

Wheat can be one of the main factors contributing to thyroid problems of which there has been a tremendous increase since the advertising to eat more grains in the last 15 –20 years. Avoidance of wheat where indicated as a problem has seen a tremendous improvement in energy, thyroid, adrenals, bowels, pancreas, stomach.

A dietary imbalance of excessive grains creates muscular weakness. Given her constitutional type of connective and elastic tissue weakness she cannot afford to maintain this lifestyle. Muscular weakness is also a symptom of an imbalanced thyroid and adrenals of which wheat is greatly contributing to the underfunctioning of these organs. Muscular weakness in her digestive tract will create many health problems as these areas begin to prolapse.

HOWEVER, to address dietary without looking at the emotions and mental would be futile. When a client can understand that certain foods suppress certain emotions (in this case wheat is suppressing grief) and the client is willing to deal with the underlying emotional element, no longer is there the “pull” or craving to eat wheat. If there is, the client now has more choices. They can eat the wheat and suppress the emotion and “be happy” for a few minutes. Or they can use the craving as a messenger to let them know there could be some emotional stress that they can look at.

It has been suggested to Leonie that if/when she practises “sifting”, i.e. being aware of her body’s reactions and messages, it will filter into every area of her life. She will have her “antennae” functioning to give her information so that she will not have to be in a state of constant vigilance in preparation for “fight or flight” as to whether she will survive.

Leonie will have a colonoscopy and gastroscopy next week.

TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

DIET:
Reduce her grains (Leonie is eating grains 4 x daily) and change to some other grains to avoid the wheat.
Avoid other incompatible foods and stimulants such as tomato, caffeine, chocolate, dairy and sugar that are draining her body.

(Leonie is drinking ¼ - ½ of her requirements). Increase water to increase digestive ability, eliminate waste and overall improve every function.

Leonie has been given written information on her constitutional type, adrenal and thyroid and the detrimental effects of exerting herself to her limits and tips on maintaining her reserves.

She has been given the option of a future appointment to correct her hiatus hernia, with the knowledge that if changes are not implemented by her, the hernia would return immediately.

SUPPLEMENTS:
Enzymes
Homoepathics to heal and repair the gut
Adrenal support since the body cannot eliminate waste when there are high levels of cortisol.
Rutin and bioflavanoids as part of Vit. C complex to support her connective tissue.
